The Willingtons Story

Willingtons is the brain-child of long-term friends Mark and Graeme, bringing together their passion for customer service excellence and skills in roofing.

Both felt like they had more to offer in their roles at work, so they decided to combine that dedication and diverse experience to start a business together. In 2014, after working their notice periods, they combined their final pay packets, part-exchanged Mark’s car for their first van, and Willingtons was born.

The rest, as they say, is history. Now Mark and Graeme run a thriving roofing company with a growing team, adding to their expertise all the time.

Mark finished college and stepped straight into an office role within the IT industry. But after completing an apprenticeship in business administration, he quickly realised he would rather be working outside than confined in an office environment.

He Initially started as a labourer for various trades, gaining a wealth of experience as he went. It was around 2006 that a trainee roofer position become available, and this is where his career took a new direction. He found his calling and followed it. His passion within Willingtons is delivering the best possible customer experience and a perfect end product. As the business has grown Mark has taken on the site manager role, keeping the practical side of the business on track. Mark enjoys spending time with his young family, keeping fit and fishing.
